Precautions in case of spill or release

Product will cause a slip hazard on hard surfaces. Sweep up immediately for re-use or disposal

Precautions for handling and storage

Keep containers sealed to avoid exposure to humidity and water. Product will swell 100% on exposure to moisture. Expansion of product could cause containers to burst. Store in cool dry area (above 32 degrees F and below 120 degrees F).

Special Precautions for handling and storage

Avoid contact with Nitric acid and strong oxidizing agents.

Waste Disposal method

As supplied, new and used ion exchange resin is not considered as hazardous waste. Used resin may meet the regulatory definition of hazardous waste as a result of its service or absorbed contaminants. (Refer to 40 CFR 261) Regulatory agencies and disposal sites may require verification of the hazardous or non-hazardous properties.

Product will swell during use by approximately 100%. Maintain adequate freeboard in process vessels to allow for expansion
